I am a hopeless romantic. One who likes chocolates and good romantic comedies. I am also quite macabre sometimes, favouring a darker point of view (says the girl who has a encyclopaedia of killing methods).

Little did I know that this French Film was going to appeal to both my hopeless romantic as well as my other not so sunshine and daisies side. I have now decided that this is my favourite film.

Child's Play )

Guillaume Canet is officially on my Lust List. His little version, Thibault Verhaeghe, is also tre bien!

If anyone know where I can find the OST for this please tell me! I absolutely love this.

I always seem to have to deduce the ending to a film before the actual ending. When I do so, I whine about how it's such a no-plotter. When I don't do so I complain that it's too complicated and the ending is crap. It's an annoying habit that I just can't seem to shake off. I don't even know how it started

I realised this while watching Confession of Pain. My friend had told me many many months ago the basic sketch of the plotline so that I would watch it and I finally did today. It was weird because from what she had told me and from what I had watched at the begining, I had already started forming the answer to the movie.

Yet for some reason when it had ended exactly as I had deduced, it wasn't so unsatisfactory. Confession of Pain is really powerful. It's not hard to guess what's happening but it was kind of hard to follow. It doesn't really take the same route of a story yet all the clues are laid out on the table.

All the actors were very experienced and put together with the soundtrack, the movie was very polished. It's not really a tear-jerker, but it's not really happy either. It's "hard to swallow" but it leaves a nice aftertaste.

Overall, it's worth watching but just don't do so as a light relaxing film.

Once again, I downloaded it from [info]jdramas. Take a look at the trailer:

Also, Takashi Kaneshiro is SERIOUS love.

ARGH so I was just loling myself with the hilarity of Lovely Complex when I saw some alarming parallels to Temptation of the Wolves(aka, A Romance of Their Own - a movie that I had recently ranted about)

RabuCon = Temptation of Wolves? )

RabuCon is coming along quite nicely. There is enough hilarity to balance out the cringe worthy moments and even though they are cringe worthy, they are still VERY funny.

I love ALL of the characters even Haruka (I love the quiet guy, Suzuki the most because he just reminds me so much of Mori-Senpai).
